Google Calendar

Your calendar in, your plan back out.

Connect your Google calendars separately from signing in. Meetings land in the planner, planned work goes back to Google as events, and Sync shares your busy time with other calendars without the details.

Highlights

  • Answer from the planner

Open any invitation and reply Yes, Maybe, or No. For a recurring meeting, choose this event, this and following events, or all events.

  • Planned work becomes events

Task blocks are written to the calendar your Hours, project, or organization names. Flexible blocks show as free; locked ones show as busy.

  • Separate from sign-in

Calendar access is its own Google authorization in Settings → Calendars. Connect more than one account and choose which calendars the planner shows.

Inbox

Moved meetings arrive as change cards.

When a conversation moves, holds, or cancels a meeting you accepted, the Inbox drafts a change card. Accepting writes only that change, and guests hear about it only if you tick Notify guests.

  • Shows the old and new time, in both zones when they differ
  • Writes only events this account created or organizes
  • Undo restores it while the event still holds the change

Sync

Choose what each calendar can see.

A Sync group copies events from source calendars to destinations. Tasks, meetings, personal events, and travel each get a rule, and copies run at all hours, 60 days ahead.

  • Busy, a default label, a custom label, or full details
  • Full details lead with the join link and guest emails, as text
  • Copies never feed other routes, so nothing loops

Good to know

  • Calendar access is its own Google authorization, separate from signing in to Kernel.
  • Only timed events marked Busy on planner calendars block task placement.
  • Edit and move non-recurring events you organize; recurring ones open in Google for edits.
  • Private notes and files on an event stay in Kernel and are never sent to Google or guests.
  • Track a meeting as time and file it to a client and project, with Kernel's suggestion marked.
  • Changes arrive through Google push notifications, with a full check every five minutes.
