Bulk Time Drafts

Drafted time only counts once you accept.

An agent, or you, stages a week of entries and tasks in a Bulk Time Draft. Review it on its own planner, fix what's off, and accept it in one step. Until then, none of it is recorded.

Highlights

  • Made for agents

A Full work API key can create a draft, add, change, or remove entries, and get its review link. The link only opens for someone signed in to the workspace.

  • Its own planner

Each draft opens as a day or week planner. Drag entries in 15-minute steps or set exact times, then change notes, tasks, and billability.

  • All or nothing

Accept creates the proposed tasks and records every entry in one transaction. If any part fails, nothing is recorded.

Conflicts

A changed task is never overwritten.

The draft remembers each existing task as it found it. If that task changes before you accept, choose the current or the draft value for every changed field, then rebase.

  • Accept waits until every conflict is resolved
  • Fields the draft never changed keep the newer edit
  • A missing task's entries can move to another task

Pending time

Drafted time stays out of your totals.

Until you accept, a task lists draft entries under Pending drafts, excluded from recorded time. The Planner, reports, billing, client dashboards, and Toggl leave them out too.

  • Discard closes a draft without creating anything
  • Accepted and discarded drafts stay as read-only history
  • API keys can create and discard drafts, never accept them

Good to know

  • A draft covers up to 45 days, 100 tasks, and 500 entries, and its entries may overlap.
  • You can start an empty Day, Week, or Custom draft yourself with New draft in Time → Drafts.
  • A draft attaches an existing task only by its ID; Kernel never matches a task by its title.
  • Accepted and discarded drafts can't be reopened, edited, or deleted.
  • Entries for a client or project with billing off say so, and are recorded as non-billable.
  • The Drafts list filters by Open, Accepted, or Discarded, and by API or Manual source.
